You may or may not have heard of Rough n Rowdy before. In basic terms, it's a chance for regular people to get into the boxing ring and beat the hell out of eachother without consequence. Barstool Sports acquired this event a few years back and they have blown it up tremendously ever since. Each event features a good handful of local try hards, degenerates and all of the other people you might find creeping around your local dive bars. There is also a main event - which usually features a prominent Barstool personality facing another big name celebrity.
Last night's main event featured Billy Football (Intern for Barstool/Pardon My Take) and Jose Canseco, the disgraced former MLB star. Jose is huge hater of Barstool Sports and said he would step into the ring to shut them up. Well......his fight last night lasted about 8 seconds, and it became abundantly clear that he scammed the viewers into buying the fight, so he could claim he was injured and collect his money. He clearly threw the fight! People flocked to Twitter quickly to call out how he was just there to collect the money. How much money you ask? Here's how much:
A quick million bucks to fake an injury. What a move. Of course people were also quick to request their money back because they paid a whopping $20 to watch the PPV. Obviously the main fight sucked, but the other moments made up for it and then some!
