There was a LOT of anticipation for this rematch between the Capitals and Rangers after a few brutal incidents happened in their meeting two nights prior. Those incidents involved known NHL scumbag Tom Wilson - who is no stranger to Pens fans either. Nobody was sure how the Rangers would respond during the rematch. They issued a strong statement against the NHL's lead in player safety, George Parros, that ultimately cost them a $250,000 fine from the NHL.
