SINGLE DAY TICKETS ON SALE NOW

BELMONT, OH: Blame My Roots Fest (BMRF) today announced the latest additions to its 2022 lineup. A host of national and local acts, headed up by million-selling singer-songwriter David

Lee Murphy, will join the ranks of Dierks Bentley, Chase Rice, Ashley McBryde, Randy Houser, Niko Moon and company at Valley View Farm this summer.

David Lee Murphy, an American country music singer-songwriter, is best known for his #1 songs “Dust on the Bottle” and “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright,” as well country music favorites “Party Crowd,” “Every Time I Get Around You,” “The Road You Leave Behind” and “Loco.” Murphy has also co-written several singles for artists like Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean and Jake Owen, making his set nearly a full sing-a-long for country music fans of all generations.

Joining Murphy from the Nashville scene are Walker Montgomery and Levi Hummon. Montgomery, from the legendary Montgomery family, is a two-time BMRF alum and crowd favorite. Hummon’s latest hit, “Paying For It” was co-written and performed with Walker Hayes, and has gained success on Tik Tok and Instagram.

Co-Creators Chris and Nina Dutton said this is the biggest, most complete, and entertaining lineup yet for the young festival.

“We have to keep outdoing ourselves in order to build,” says Nina. “We’ve been proud of each lineup, but this year is really exciting!”

Already announced and joining Bentley are reality-TV-personality-turned-country-music powerhouse Chase Rice; 2018 ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year Ashley McBryde; chart topping singer-songwriter Randy Houser; and rising star and BMRF ’21 alum Niko Moon, handling the Thursday night kickoff show. James Barker Band, an “up-and-coming country group worth knowing” as stated by The Boot Blog, and social media sensation Priscilla Block round out BMRF’s roster as it currently stands.

The BMRF team will be paying close attention to the upcoming ACM Country Music Award shows, hosted by 2019 BMRF alum, and Saturday opener, Gabby Barrett. This year alone, 2022 Stars, Ashley McBryde and Priscilla Block are nominated for 3 awards, including New Female artist (Block) and Female Artist (McBryde). They’ll also be proudly cheering on BMRF alums nominated for New Male Artist (Ryan Hurd, 2019), Female Artist (Gabby Barrett, 2019), and of course, Miranda Lambert, one of the most nominated female artists of all time.

“We’re excited that our support acts each year have been building their careers and garnering so much success. We spend a lot of time booking support acts to ensure we have a great, entertaining show from start to finish. We want to look back at lineups with a lot of pride. We’re seeing that with acts like Gabby (Barrett), Ryan Hurd, and Niko Moon. Priscilla Block is another act that could be headlining shows in the future.”

The Duttons have also used the festival to create an opportunity for local artists as well. This year, they’ll welcome in Luke Burkhardt and Gage Joseph with Wyatt Kidd. They’ll also be bringing back the Busker’s Stage for local acoustic acts to perform, network and sell merch. Rounding out the lineup is North To Nashville (Columbus), and Frank Vieira (Pittsburgh). North To Nashville has gained popularity around the Columbus music scene, especially in the fall at Buckeye tailgates. Frank Vieira is a BMRF 2019 alum and is a regular in the Pittsburgh country music scene, mostly due to his regular stops at Tequila Cowboy.

BMRF ’22 will once again feature an exclusive VIP area as well as The Glessner Group Country Cabanas, private viewing boxes with Country Western Chic decor and bottle service provided by some of the finest servers in the bar/nightclub industry. It will also tout late-night DJs and year two of the Food Truck Rally.

The Duttons are working on more additions to this year’s festival and will release details as they’re finalized.
