Driver Attempts to Use HOV Lane With a Skeleton In the Passenger Seat

A driver in San Jose, California used a skeleton in a “Scream” mask as a passenger to get around the HOV rule.

A California Highway Patrol officer stopped the car and cited the driver. There’s a minimum $490 fine and may increase for repeat offenders, so it was a costly attempt.
