Carly Pearce And Michael Ray's Current Obsession Is 'Tiger King'

Carly Pearce and Michael Ray are two among many people who have recently watched the popular Netflix series, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness. The country couple decided to watch it to keep themselves entertained while quarantined in their Nashville home.

"Now, our current obsession together is Tiger King. I don’t know how to even begin to explain what I feel about that," Pearce said during a recent interview with her record label. "It is out of control. If none of you have watched it, you have to watch it."

At the time of the interview, the couple still hadn't finished the documentary, although Pearce already had parts of the show that she says were "too much" for her.

"Michael and I aren’t finished with it but there’s a few parts in it that like, I can’t physically watch. It’s too much for me," she reveals. "What a weird group of people in society that you didn’t even know was real. I mean, I just can’t believe it."

Ray also spoke out about the series on Twitter saying, "The fact that we are #Quarantine the same time the Tiger King is out proves the universe has our back."

Fellow country singer, Cole Swindell, also had something to say about the true crime documentary. He responded to Ray's tweet writing, "How ridiculous is it?!! Just finished it."

Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness focuses primarily on the life of Joe Exotic and several other collectors of big cats in the United States. Big cat conservationist, Carole Baskin, who accuses people like Exotic of abusing and exploiting animals, is also a main part of the documentary.
