A video is going viral online, where a woman shares a flu "remedy."
You take a potato, cut it in half, and then slice off two pieces. You press the potato slices against the bottom of your feet . . . put socks over them to keep them in place . . . and remove them in the morning.
There will be an indentation on your feet, which she says is "normal." And the potato slices will be a "disgustingly dark" color, because "the toxins are removed." She insists you'll feel much better.
The next morning, the slices are dark; some claim it’s because they suck toxins out of your body, but a nutritionist says that it’s body heat and exposure to air that causes “enzymatic browning,” and doctors are saying that potato slices in your socks don’t take the place of a trip to the doctor.
