One of my favorite aspects of this job is having the chance to listen to newer artists in-house to talk to them about their music. We did that today with Jillian Jacqueline, a girl from PA making her own way in country music.
After just performing on Late Night with Seth Myers in NYC on Monday, Jillian came to the BIG Saloon and played a few songs off her latest record, Side A which she released last year.
She's a down-to-earth, edgy country voice from Pennsylvania walking around with sarcasm and really great shoes...she's a girl after my own heart.
If you haven't listened to her music, it'd be a lot cooler if you did.
