Ingrid Andress is still reeling over her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Friday morning (May 6), sharing on Instagram that it was “funnnnnn” to get to play her latest song on TV for the first time. The “More Hearts Than Mine” singer performed “Good Person,” a contemplative song that seeks to determine what it means to be considered “good.” Andress considers in the song:

“'Cause I've cheated and lied/ And made people cry/ But I pray for the ones that I love every night/ And I've shattered some hearts/ And my thoughts get dark/ But I'd stop for a stranger who's falling part/ I’m still learning/ Good, good person”

Andress released “Good Person” last month, explaining at the time that she’s strived to be one her entire life. “You find out that you make mistakes even though you are trying not to, but they’re just inevitable,” she said, in part. “And it’s always so interesting because when people are referring to somebody as a ‘good person,’ it’s always for a different reason, and it’s based on the values they have in their life. And so, when they see somebody else emulating values that they also value it’s like, that’s what makes them a good person.”
