Jana Kramer opened up about her birth story days after welcoming Baby No. 3, tearing up while sharing the details on the latest episode of Whine Down with Jana Kramer on Monday (November 20). The new episode was recorded four days after Kramer welcomed son Roman James Russell, her third baby and her first with fiancé Allan Russell.

Kramer, who celebrates her 40th birthday on December 2, shared the heartwarming thing Russell, 42, did to help support and comfort his wide-to-be during the hardest parts of the birth. In a clip that Kramer shared on Instagram — along with a snapshot of Kramer and Russell, and another of their newborn son — she remembers that “his head was on my forehead the entire time. I just felt that the entire time,” she said as she began to cry. “It was really sweet.”

Kramer also walks Whine Down listeners through the moments of her birth story and the moments after her C-section that gave her the most anxiety, and one thing she regrets after returning home from the hospital with her newborn baby. She credited the nurses, doctors and other hospital staff “for the work you do with so much love,” and thanked her fiancé “for being my rock” through it all.

The country artist, actress, author and podcast host announced on Tuesday (November 14) that her son arrived one day prior. Roman James was born on November 13, weighing 6 pounds, one ounce, and Kramer is “blessed beyond measure for this little miracle.”

Russell hailed his fiancée “an absolute warrior of a woman,” when he shared photos of Roman James. The baby joins Jolie, 7, and Jace, 4, Kramer’s children from her previous marriage, and Russell’s teen son Troy
