Amy’s Kid Found Loophole Through Grounding With School Activities

One of Amy’s children is grounded, and she has noticed that extracurricular activities have increased since then.

She realized if they sign up for all these extra things, it’s a way for them to avoid their grounding and get out of the house and hang out with friends. They recently signed up for a singing group with their youth group that meets for five hours on Saturday and a leadership club that is headed to Dollywood. Amy is allowing it because it is something good, they are participating in and can learn from, but she knows she’s been outsmarted with her grounding punishment.
