Amy wants to change something sheâs done her whole life. Â
Whenever sheâs talking to someone, sheâll greet them with âHey, how are you?â Itâs her default saying, and she wants to stop relying on it. She wants to say other things instead that may add more depth. She looked up a list of phrases to say instead and found: Â
- âIâve been thinking about you.â Â
- âHow have you been sleeping?â Â
- âWhatâs a favorite thing you did this week?â Â
- âWhat have you been up to this week?â Â
- âWhat did you do today?â Â
- âAny special thoughts today?â Â
- âIâve been looking forward to talking to you?â Â
- âAnything youâre looking forward to?â Â
- âIs there something I can do for you?â Â
- âWant to do some self-care together?Â
Everyone thought these were weird and too invasive to say initially to a random person. They also agreed that if someone greeted them with one of those sayings, they would be caught off guard and not want to talk. Â
