The Bobby Bones Show’s 2023 St. Jude Radiothon kicked off today (December 7) with several performances. Along with the incredible performances, we heard several St. Jude patient and family stories about the wonderful things St. Jude Children's Research Hospital does for those who have to be there.
The Radiothon is an effort to raise money and gain Partners In Hope for St. Jude to continue raising money for kids with cancer. The hospital does more than just help kids, they also work on research. Research that is used to help find the cure for cancer, and not only that, the hospital shares their research with all other hospitals and facilities at no cost.

Amy, Eddie and Lunchbox shared songs that remind them of St. Jude’s mission every time they hear it.
Amy - “Neon Moon” by Brooks & Dunn. It reminds her of Bobby Bones and The Raging Idiots Million Dollar Show, which is a fundraiser show for St. Jude that Bones and Eddie put on every year at The Ryman. She was standing on the side stage when they went out and sang “Neon Moon” with Brooks and Dunn. Now when she hears that song, she thinks of that moment and the patients and St. Jude staff running around backstage and singing along.
Eddie - “Love Without End, Amen” by George Strait. It’s always been one of his favorite songs but really resonated with him when he became a father of four boys. The song is a story about a father talking to his son and telling him he’ll never understand the amount of love he has for him. When Eddie visited St. Jude a few years ago, he met a lot of families, and he could tell by the look in the parents face that they would do anything for their child.
Lunchbox - “It’s A Great Day to Be Alive” by Travis Tritt. When he visited St. Jude, he thought it was going to be sad. But he realized that St. Jude makes sure every day is a great day for their patients and their families.
