Luke Bryan kicked off the 2023 iHeartCountry Festival presented by Capital One at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on Saturday (May 13) with an exciting set, getting the party started with electric performances of some of his biggest hits throughout his career.

Bryan opened up his set with the throwback hit "I Don't Want This Night to End" from his 2011 album Tailgates & Tanlines, changing up the lyrics a bit to honor the warm Texas night before ending the song by taking a selfie with the crowd as he sang "I don't want this night to end."

Grabbing his electric guitar, Bryan turned to the crowd to ask if there was anyone there who loved to hunt and fish before moving on to the next song his his set, which of course had to be "Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day" from 2015's Kill the Lights. The country audience didn't disappoint as they belted along with Bryan as he thanked God for making him a country boy living his best life with a country girl who loves the same things.

Bryan apparently had a busy night planned, telling the crowd that he was leaving the festival to immediately get on a plane and fly to Los Angeles so he wanted to get the party started with some tequila. While he never got a shot, he did get the crowd moving along to "One Margarita," from 2020's Born Here Live Here Die Here, as they "[let] go a little, little by little."

He then moved into "Country On," ending the song by turning it over to the crowd to finish the lyrics, before playfully growling at the "country girls" in the crowd as he started singing about having "that real good, feel good stuff" in his 2013 song "That's My Kind of Night" from Crash My Party.

He wrapped up his set by encouraging the country girls in the crowd to shake it and get wild on a Saturday night, doing a good bit of shaking himself as the worked the stage to "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)," also from Tailgates & Tanlines.

Bryan recently released his newest single "But I Got A Beer in My Hand," which dropped earlier this month as what he claimed will be fans' "new summer anthem." The American Idol judge gave Ryan Seacrest a sneak peek of the new track, which is set to be on an upcoming album, days before the song's release.

Aside from his Country On Tour — which kicks off in June with a long list of special guests including Chayce Beckham, Tyler Braden, Ashley Cooke, Jackson Dean, Jon Langston, Conner Smith, Alana Springsteen, Hailey Whitters and JR Rock — Bryan will hit the road this fall for his 14th Farm Tour. Special guests will be announced at a later date.

"These nights are one-of-a-kind and we really enjoy getting to know the farmers and their families," he said of the tour, adding he "[loves] the whole atmosphere of playing on these incredible farms and watching entire communities come together and get excited about these shows."
