We aren't that far from the robots just taking over...because a bunch of Amazon robots just caused a man to be trapped at work.
An Amazon worker was doing a video on TikTok to show how sometimes the robot shelves just block aisles while moving around the warehouse. He actually becomes trapped in the aisle he's in when 2 bots block him in the company’s enormous warehouses. He took video of his escape making it almost seem like he was trying to get out of a maze. OH, HELLO ANXIETY.
He says it took around 15 minutes to get out, commenting “Them robots like to mess around.” Just as he turns down one walkway in the video, another yellow shelving unit moves to block his path. Commenters on the video compared it to a horror movie.
What would you do? Scream for help? Use your walkie to get help??
