So have you ever been woken up late at night while staying at a hotel because of other guests loudly running down the hall? That's what this hotel in Germany is hoping to prevent with its "3D carpet" that makes guests a little queasy if they run through the hallway.
The hotel is called the Euronova Arthotel in Cologne, Germany and the weird carpeting, which you can see below, is in every hallway, hotel room, and conference room. Oddly enough, the carpeting was installed to most likely younger guests from interrupting adult guest's "hotel experience," but I feel sorry for anyone who goes back to the hotel drunk from a late night.
Would you want something installed at hotels in the US? If anything, it would make your hotel quieter or could have the opposite effect and make a ton of guests get easily motion-sick!
