Uber Eats Reveals Customers' Most Bizarre Food Cravings

Food delivery apps help to satisfy our cravings and let us order exactly what we want from the privacy of our homes, no matter how weird it is. It turns out, a lot of people get creative with their orders and thanks to Uber Eats, we get to find out all about them.

Their sixth annual Cravings Report has just come out, revealing the most popular, most unusual and unique delivery orders they’ve received over the last year. So, what is everyone having delivered to their homes?

• When it comes to groceries, bananas hold onto their spot as the number one selling item.
• Roses are the number one flower delivered by Uber Eats, every single month of the year.
• The top late night UberEats order is a medium french fry.
• Uber Eats is satisfying the midnight munchies in college towns across the country, but the most late night orders from midnight to 4 a.m. are going to Penn State, Indiana University, University of Iowa, Texas A&M University and Oklahoma State University.
• Election Night was a busy one for the delivery service, with lots of orders for kebabs, guac, Lamarca Prosecco and White Claw. Alcohol sales were up 10% that day, too.
• Hot sauce is the top condiment order, followed by sweet n’ sour sauce, ranch and BBQ.
• The five most popular delivery requests in the U.S. are no onion, no tomato, extra sauce, spicy and well done.
• Tito’s Handmade Vodka is the most popular alcohol, followed by Corona Beer.
