The Mighty Ducks are back, and they might not be the good guys this time.

I won't lie - I cringed about 5 different times watching this trailer. We learned recently that the famed Mighty Ducks that we grew up with were coming back, but I don't think we anticipated them being the bad guys? For years we have watched as the Ducks triumphed over the evil Hawks, Team Iceland, Eden Hall Varsity and now I am supposed to cut my support for them and root for this new team?? I mean don't get me wrong the message is solid. Everyone deserves a chance to play hockey and any sport they love. This just isn't the angle I expected. But who is the target audience for this? Is it the people in their 20's and 30's hanging on to the nostalgia that the old Ducks gave us, or is this a way to introduce a new generation to hockey. I guess it would probably be the latter.
TLDR: I don't love it, but I will probably watch anyway.
