WPXI - Thursday, PennDOT announced the nine bridges in Pennsylvania that they are suggested to add tolling to to help with transportation funding in the state.
The initial proposal to toll select bridges in the state of PA was brought out back in November 2020, but today is the first we have learned of exactly what bridges they plan to toll.
Judging by the replies and quote tweets on this tweet from KDKA's Paul Martino, people are less than thrilled with the idea, and have even though about ways to get around the toll if it were to go into effect. I hope the fine folks of Bridgeville don't mind all of the additional traffic that would probably end up dropping off of 79 just to hop back on in Collier (and vice versa.)
