Ever since a few urban explorers got into the now abandoned Century III Mall, there has been a run on videos like these. From what I understand the exploration community can be a tight one, so once a person gets into a place, that can open up opportunity for others to go in and grab their own content.
The most recent video comes from BigBankz, who has a pretty hefty following on YouTube and other channels. Judging by his other videos he has seen and explored some pretty wild places in the past, but he seems impressed with the size of the once great Century III Mall. Unlike some of the other videos we have seen lately, BigBankz gives us a look inside a lot of the popular stores that we used to visit. I got a good chuckle out of his account of the old Disney Store, which was actually converted to a Toys R Us express for a brief period - that was my first job ever!
I still can't get over how bizarre this whole thing is in general. We all know it's a corrupt situation, but I can't get over the amount of standing water, broken glass and overall destruction that has come in just a handful of years. The building is most definitely a goner at this point, even though I had hoped it would be revived in some way, shape or form. At this point everyone is just trying to figure out what the endgame is. How long will it be allowed to deteriorate, or how long until a major emergency or accident happens in that place?
Here's the newest look inside. How are your old favorites holding up?
